1. You need Internet access and an open Ethernet port on your router or hub for our device to plug into. Most DSL or Cable Boxes have this on them. We can check for you and help you find out. You also need a standard power outlet within 6 feet of the Wireless Access Point location. If you do not have Internet access, you will need to get it to qualify for our service.We are not an Internet Service Provider (ISP). We extend and manage your internet connection to provide wireless coverage throughout your property.
2. You do not have to have a static IP address but one is preferred. You only need 1 public IP address.
3. If you can't get DSL, you may be able to get Internet access via your cable television provider. Cable is comparable to DSL in price. Another option is Satellite, the equipment will cost you but monthly charge is comparable to DSL or Cable. We recommend at least a HughesNet HN7000s Small Office package (.98 Meter Dish & 2-Watt Radio) with a static IP address. You may need a bigger system but that depends on your customer base.
